For years, people have been asking me: “When will you start giving workshops?”

In my previous blog I wrote about the first milestones of Verraad mij niet – Het geheim van Amsterdam, from the very first sketches to the book presentations in Amsterdam and at school.

The year has flown by. Around this time last year, I was working every day on the illustrations for Verraad mij niet – Het geheim van Amsterdam, written by Melinda Braaksma and illustrated by me.

The cover illustration of Verraad mij Niet (Melinda Braaksma) immediately sets the tone: a dramatic scene in shades of grey, with a child hiding and a bright yellow Star of David catching the eye. This drawing is just one of the many illustrations I had the honor of creating for this remarkable book. In this blog, I’ll take you behind the scenes of my illustration process.

Here We Go!

This past summer (2024), I moved my studio back home.

I’m truly honoured to be featured as an artist on the website of The Dutch Art Box!My artist statement and this colourful photo are being proudly highlighted there.

This past autumn, I exhibited my collection at Gerda Glerum’s Galerie Onder de Linden in Tholen.
